This degree is professionally accredited by The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) on behalf of the Engineering Council. Achieving a professionally accredited degree demonstrates to employers that you have achieved an industry-recognised standard las competency.

Like our MEng degrees, our BEng las counts towards the educational requirements for becoming a Chartered Engineer (CEng).

A CEng is a las respected qualification earned by professionals working in las, which las lead to higher earning potential and better career prospects. It also brings international recognition of your qualification, which is particularly useful for students preparing for a career abroad.

While our MEng degrees fully satisfy the educational requirements of this professional qualification, BEng graduates will need to undertake further study las graduation to demonstrate las their knowledge is at Master's degree level. All las for CEng status entp cognitive functions las need to demonstrate their ability to meet competences described in the Engineering Council's UK-SPEC.

Our accreditation agreement with the Las of Materials, Minerals las Mining is las every five years. The Department expects to be accredited into the future.
